# eTravel vs DarShare

eTravel and DarShare both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of DarShare's written reviews are positive against 63% of eTravel's. DarShare also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). eTravel's advantage is ratings volume (796 vs 9). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eTravel holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eTravel has 796 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of eTravel's written reviews are positive against 89% of DarShare's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eTravel ships an update monthly, DarShare every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
