# DieHammer vs The

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DieHammer at none against The's 1. DieHammer also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). The's advantage is ratings volume (113 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per month. DieHammer asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for DieHammer against 5.0 for The. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The has 113 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DieHammer ships an update weekly, The every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
