# Merge Master vs Scorpion Evolution

The clearest difference is ads: Scorpion Evolution at none against Merge Master's shown. Scorpion Evolution also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (3.2K vs 254). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Merge Master sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Scorpion Evolution sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Merge Master against 4.5 for Scorpion Evolution. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scorpion Evolution has 3.2K ratings behind it against 254, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 30% of Merge Master's written reviews are positive against 25% of Scorpion Evolution's.

Merge Master ships an update every 2 months, Scorpion Evolution every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
