# dekis vs Slitherlink

The clearest difference is update cadence: dekis at fortnightly against Slitherlink's every 6 weeks. dekis also leads on iOS requirement (12 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. dekis sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Slitherlink sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

dekis ships an update fortnightly, Slitherlink every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
