# Auto Spa vs Hopp Driver

The clearest difference is rating: Hopp Driver at 4.8 against Auto Spa's 2.3. Hopp Driver also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 22 months) and ratings volume (96 vs 3). Auto Spa's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hopp Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hopp Driver has 96 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Auto Spa's written reviews are positive against 26% of Hopp Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Auto Spa ships an update every 22 months, Hopp Driver weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
