# Rope and Pull vs Renovation Empire

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Rope and Pull at none against Renovation Empire's 10. Rope and Pull also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Renovation Empire's advantage is ratings volume (214 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Renovation Empire sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Rope and Pull asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rope and Pull holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Renovation Empire has 214 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Rope and Pull's written reviews are positive against 36% of Renovation Empire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
