# Mahjong Forest vs Casual Plus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Casual Plus at every 2 weeks against Mahjong Forest's every 5 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mahjong Forest sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Casual Plus sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mahjong Forest ships an update every 5 months, Casual Plus every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
