# Clip Jar vs Summify

The clearest difference is rating: Clip Jar at 4.6 against Summify's 3.0. Clip Jar also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clip Jar sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Summify sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clip Jar holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clip Jar has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Clip Jar ships an update every 6 weeks, Summify monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
