# Lock Screen Wallpapers + vs Depth Effect Wallpapers

Lock Screen Wallpapers + and Depth Effect Wallpapers both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 58% of Lock Screen Wallpapers +'s written reviews are positive against 25% of Depth Effect Wallpapers's. Lock Screen Wallpapers + also leads on ratings volume (625 vs 96). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock Screen Wallpapers + sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Depth Effect Wallpapers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Depth Effect Wallpapers holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lock Screen Wallpapers + has 625 ratings behind it against 96, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Lock Screen Wallpapers +'s written reviews are positive against 25% of Depth Effect Wallpapers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lock Screen Wallpapers + ships an update every 5 days, Depth Effect Wallpapers every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 8, 2026 respectively.
