# Shrimp Game vs Mining Master

The clearest difference is rating: Mining Master at 4.6 against Shrimp Game's 4.0. Mining Master also leads on ratings volume (3.7K vs 163). Shrimp Game's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 23%) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mining Master sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Shrimp Game asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mining Master holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mining Master has 3.7K ratings behind it against 163, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Shrimp Game's written reviews are positive against 23% of Mining Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shrimp Game ships an update weekly, Mining Master every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
