# LEDVANCE tapTronic vs Intermatic Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LEDVANCE tapTronic at 100% against Intermatic Connect's 29%. LEDVANCE tapTronic also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Intermatic Connect's advantage is rating (3.6 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Intermatic Connect holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of LEDVANCE tapTronic's written reviews are positive against 29% of Intermatic Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LEDVANCE tapTronic ships an update every 5 months, Intermatic Connect every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
