# Umi vs Mina

The clearest difference is rating: Umi at 4.8 against Mina's 4.0. Umi also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 2) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). Mina's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Umi sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Mina sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Umi holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Umi has 2.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
