# TCal vs Calc

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Calc at none against TCal's 1. TCal's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TCal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Calc asks for nothing beyond the download.

TCal ships an update every 5 days, Calc every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
