# TCal vs Ai Pencil

The clearest difference is update cadence: TCal at every 5 days against Ai Pencil's every 2 weeks. TCal also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TCal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ai Pencil sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TCal ships an update every 5 days, Ai Pencil every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
