# MOVE TV vs TV Vala

The clearest difference is rating: TV Vala at 2.7 against MOVE TV's 1.8. TV Vala also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). MOVE TV's advantage is ratings volume (72 vs 3) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TV Vala holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOVE TV has 72 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of MOVE TV's written reviews are positive against 0% of TV Vala's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MOVE TV ships an update every 5 weeks, TV Vala every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
