# Inksy vs Called

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Called at none against Inksy's 5. Called also leads on ratings volume (370 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). Inksy's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inksy sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Called asks for nothing beyond the download.

Inksy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Called has 370 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Inksy ships an update monthly, Called every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
