# QID vs Forum Plus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Forum Plus at every 5 days against QID's monthly. Forum Plus also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

QID ships an update monthly, Forum Plus every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
