# ابواب vs Things

The clearest difference is rating: ابواب at 3.9 against Things's 3.4. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ابواب sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Things sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ابواب holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 29 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of ابواب's written reviews are positive against 74% of Things's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ابواب ships an update fortnightly, Things every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
