# 录屏 vs Screen Recorder

The clearest difference is ads: Screen Recorder at none against 录屏's shown. Screen Recorder also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 57%) and ratings volume (79 vs 11). 录屏's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 录屏 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Screen Recorder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

录屏 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Recorder has 79 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of 录屏's written reviews are positive against 75% of Screen Recorder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

录屏 ships an update every 8 days, Screen Recorder every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
