# Palki TV vs VLT Player

The clearest difference is rating: VLT Player at 5.0 against Palki TV's 2.9. VLT Player also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Palki TV's advantage is ratings volume (32 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Palki TV sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and VLT Player sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VLT Player holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Palki TV has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Palki TV ships an update every 6 weeks, VLT Player every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
