# ScanMaster vs PDF Editor

The clearest difference is rating: PDF Editor at 4.7 against ScanMaster's 1.0. PDF Editor also leads on review sentiment (38% vs 0%) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). ScanMaster's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Both are free to download. ScanMaster sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and PDF Editor sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
