# JTNY vs Zed's

The clearest difference is rating: Zed's at 4.7 against JTNY's 3.7. Zed's also leads on ratings volume (49 vs 12). JTNY's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zed's holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 49 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of JTNY's written reviews are positive against 0% of Zed's's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JTNY ships an update every 10 days, Zed's every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
