# GolfNut vs GranPlayer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GolfNut at 100% against GranPlayer's 26%. GolfNut also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.7). GranPlayer's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GolfNut sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and GranPlayer sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GolfNut holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GranPlayer has 50 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of GolfNut's written reviews are positive against 26% of GranPlayer's.

GolfNut ships an update every 2 weeks, GranPlayer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
