# Polygon ID vs Greeting Tracker

The clearest difference is price: Polygon ID at Free against Greeting Tracker's $3.99. Polygon ID also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). Greeting Tracker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Polygon ID is free to download; Greeting Tracker costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Greeting Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Polygon ID has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Polygon ID's written reviews are positive against 75% of Greeting Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Polygon ID ships an update every 3 weeks, Greeting Tracker monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
