# La Terminal vs Snap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Snap at none against La Terminal's 3. Snap also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). La Terminal's advantage is ratings volume (104 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. La Terminal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Snap asks for nothing beyond the download.

Snap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: La Terminal has 104 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
