# RescueTime vs Drops AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Drops AI at every 2 days against RescueTime's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RescueTime sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month and Drops AI sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RescueTime ships an update monthly, Drops AI every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
