# Jade Order vs Athena Crisis

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Athena Crisis at 73% against Jade Order's 25%. Jade Order's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jade Order sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Athena Crisis sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jade Order holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Jade Order's written reviews are positive against 73% of Athena Crisis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jade Order ships an update every 2 weeks, Athena Crisis every 9 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
