# Wool Throttle vs SILT

The clearest difference is ads: SILT at none against Wool Throttle's shown. SILT also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). Wool Throttle's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wool Throttle sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and SILT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wool Throttle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Wool Throttle ships an update monthly, SILT every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
