# 320 Guide vs EMB

The clearest difference is update cadence: 320 Guide at monthly against EMB's every 16 months. 320 Guide also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 1). EMB's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 320 Guide sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and EMB sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EMB holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 320 Guide has 44 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

320 Guide ships an update monthly, EMB every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
