# AmpCharge vs Evie Charging

The clearest difference is rating: Evie Charging at 3.0 against AmpCharge's 1.0. Evie Charging also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). AmpCharge's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Evie Charging holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Evie Charging has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AmpCharge ships an update every 4 months, Evie Charging every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
