# APTV vs Car Link Connect

APTV and Car Link Connect both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 76% of APTV's written reviews are positive against 53% of Car Link Connect's. APTV also leads on chart position (#5 vs unranked) and device support (7 vs 2). Car Link Connect's advantage is ratings volume (7K vs 729). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. APTV sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Car Link Connect sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for APTV against 4.6 for Car Link Connect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Car Link Connect has 7K ratings behind it against 729, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of APTV's written reviews are positive against 53% of Car Link Connect's.
