# NForget vs Memosaurus

The clearest difference is ads: Memosaurus at none against NForget's shown. NForget's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 13 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NForget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Memosaurus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NForget ships an update monthly, Memosaurus every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
