# MowaterApp vs Locknload

The clearest difference is rating: MowaterApp at 5.0 against Locknload's 4.5. MowaterApp also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). Locknload's advantage is ratings volume (73 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MowaterApp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per month and Locknload sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MowaterApp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Locknload has 73 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MowaterApp ships an update every 4 days, Locknload weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
