# LinHand vs Handwriting Book

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LinHand at 50% against Handwriting Book's 0%. Handwriting Book's advantage is rating (3.6 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (7 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LinHand sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year and Handwriting Book sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.49 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Handwriting Book holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of LinHand's written reviews are positive against 0% of Handwriting Book's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
