# Web Bastion vs TrustShield Adblocker

Web Bastion and TrustShield Adblocker both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of TrustShield Adblocker's written reviews are positive against 36% of Web Bastion's. Web Bastion's advantage is ratings volume (376 vs 33). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Web Bastion sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and TrustShield Adblocker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Web Bastion holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Web Bastion has 376 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Web Bastion's written reviews are positive against 93% of TrustShield Adblocker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Web Bastion ships an update monthly, TrustShield Adblocker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
