# OnSkin vs InciDecode

The clearest difference is update cadence: InciDecode at every 6 days against OnSkin's every 2 weeks. InciDecode also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). OnSkin's advantage is chart position (#183 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OnSkin sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and InciDecode sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OnSkin ships an update every 2 weeks, InciDecode every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
