# OUTERPLANE vs FinCompass

The clearest difference is ads: FinCompass at none against OUTERPLANE's shown. OUTERPLANE's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OUTERPLANE sells 113 one-off in-app purchases and FinCompass sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OUTERPLANE ships an update fortnightly, FinCompass every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
