# BURSTS vs Disability Passport

The clearest difference is update cadence: Disability Passport at every 2 weeks against BURSTS's every 25 months. BURSTS's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BURSTS ships an update every 25 months, Disability Passport every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
