# Bubble Original vs Bubble Link

Bubble Original and Bubble Link both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Bubble Original's written reviews are positive against 66% of Bubble Link's. Bubble Link's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bubble Original sells 30 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Bubble Link sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bubble Link holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8.3K and 5.6K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Bubble Original's written reviews are positive against 66% of Bubble Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bubble Original ships an update every 5 weeks, Bubble Link fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
