# Gold Collector! vs Need Escape

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Need Escape at 60% against Gold Collector!'s 10%. Gold Collector!'s advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (117 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gold Collector! holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gold Collector! has 117 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Gold Collector!'s written reviews are positive against 60% of Need Escape's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gold Collector! ships an update every 8 days, Need Escape every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
