# Semse Aware vs BrainFlow.Wave

The clearest difference is update cadence: BrainFlow.Wave at every 4 days against Semse Aware's monthly. Semse Aware's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Semse Aware sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and BrainFlow.Wave sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
