# SoundFont Pro vs VoiSona

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VoiSona at 77% against SoundFont Pro's 40%. VoiSona also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs freemium). SoundFont Pro's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (769 vs 138). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoundFont Pro sells 35 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and VoiSona sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoundFont Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SoundFont Pro has 769 ratings behind it against 138, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of SoundFont Pro's written reviews are positive against 77% of VoiSona's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
