# Root Growth vs Number Gun!

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Root Growth at none against Number Gun!'s 10. Number Gun!'s advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Number Gun! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Root Growth asks for nothing beyond the download.

Number Gun! holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.4K and 2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Root Growth's written reviews are positive against 13% of Number Gun!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Root Growth ships an update monthly, Number Gun! every 9 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
