# PDF Scan vs Find Phone

PDF Scan and Find Phone both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 65% of Find Phone's written reviews are positive against 19% of PDF Scan's. Find Phone also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (78K vs 888). PDF Scan's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 18) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Find Phone sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. PDF Scan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Find Phone holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Find Phone has 78K ratings behind it against 888, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 19% of PDF Scan's written reviews are positive against 65% of Find Phone's.

PDF Scan ships an update every 5 weeks, Find Phone every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
