# Element X vs POCLINK

The clearest difference is rating: POCLINK at 3.8 against Element X's 3.4. POCLINK also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.5). Element X's advantage is review sentiment (39% vs 18%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

POCLINK holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Element X has 163 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Element X's written reviews are positive against 18% of POCLINK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Element X ships an update fortnightly, POCLINK every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
