# Mistikist vs Hold Off

The clearest difference is ads: Hold Off at none against Mistikist's shown. Mistikist's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mistikist sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Hold Off sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mistikist ships an update every 11 days, Hold Off monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
