# TLC vs Sobbefy

The clearest difference is ratings volume: TLC at 1K against Sobbefy's 6. TLC also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). Sobbefy's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TLC sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $25.99 per month and Sobbefy sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for TLC against 5.0 for Sobbefy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TLC has 1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of TLC's written reviews are positive against 90% of Sobbefy's.

TLC ships an update weekly, Sobbefy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
