# EV Builder's Guide vs Performance Racing Industry

The clearest difference is rating: Performance Racing Industry at 5.0 against EV Builder's Guide's 4.4. Performance Racing Industry also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). EV Builder's Guide's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EV Builder's Guide sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per year and Performance Racing Industry sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Performance Racing Industry holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EV Builder's Guide has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EV Builder's Guide ships an update every 9 months, Performance Racing Industry every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
