# Shop vs FTC

The clearest difference is update cadence: FTC at every 4 days against Shop's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shop ships an update every 3 weeks, FTC every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
