# SpeechNotes · vs TranscribeAI

The clearest difference is rating: SpeechNotes · at 4.4 against TranscribeAI's 3.7. TranscribeAI's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 29%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpeechNotes · sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and TranscribeAI sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpeechNotes · holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 125 and 58 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of SpeechNotes ·'s written reviews are positive against 44% of TranscribeAI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SpeechNotes · ships an update fortnightly, TranscribeAI every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
